In mid-June, the Yangtze River Water Conservancy Commission dispatched six working groups to conduct a second round of research on the rectification of the coastline management of rivers and lakes in five provinces in the Yangtze River Economic Zone, which was covered by the eco-environmental warning film.
By means of on-site visits, inquiries and conference discussions, the research team conducted a comprehensive survey on the rectification of problems related to river and lake coastline management in five provinces, including Jiangsu, Anhui, Jiangxi, Hubei and Hunan. The research team took photos and videos on the spot, collected relevant rectification information, inquired in detail about the rectification and improvement degree of various projects and the existing problems, and supervised the projects that were not rectified in place on the spot, demanding that all localities intensify the rectification efforts and complete the rectification according to the requirements.
In mid-March this year, in order to implement the work requirements of the Ministry of Water Resources on further verifying the management of river and lake shorelines in the ecological environment of the Yangtze River Economic Zone, the Yangtze River Water Conservancy Commission dispatched a working group to conduct the first round of on-site investigation and verification on the matters reflected in the list of issues, and formed a survey report.
Relevant responsible persons and technical backbone from departments and units of the Yangtze River Water Conservancy Commission, the Bureau of River and Lake Administration, the Yangtze River Academy of Sciences and the Center for River and Lake Protection and Construction and Security participated in the investigation.
