Website of Provincial Water Resources Department: Progress of Key Water Conservancy Project Construction in Jiangsu Province in April 2019

       From January to April 2019, 4.02 billion yuan was invested in key water conservancy projects, and 32% of the projects were completed. The completion investment of each major project is as follows:

       The investment of Xinmenghe project in Taihu Lake regulation project is 360 million yuan, accounting for 30%; the investment of Wangyu West Bank control project is 99.35 million yuan, accounting for 50%; the investment of Wangyu River reinforcement project is 2 million yuan, accounting for 39%; the investment of the follow-up project around the lake dyke (Jiangsu section) is 90 million yuan, accounting for 16%. The third phase of the Yangtze River Regulation Project, Zhenyang reach, invested 112 million yuan, accounting for 45%; the Jiangsu section of the main stream of the Yangtze River, which invested 253.2 million yuan, accounting for 45%; the Bagua Chau branch of the Yangtze River, which invested 52 million yuan, accounting for 26%; and the Yangtze River embankment capacity improvement and emergency bank collapse control project, which invested 77.73 million yuan, accounting for 37%. The adjustment and construction project of Huai River harnessing Huangdun Lake flood detention area completed investment of 121.6 million yuan, accounting for 35%; the project of Huai River Basin key plain depression harnessing in Jiangsu Province completed investment of 20.5 million yuan, accounting for 2%; the project of Huai River flood storage area and Huai River main stream beach area residents relocation in Jiangsu Province completed investment of 19.57 million yuan, accounting for 38%. The completion of Simao sluice project in Dafeng City invested 90 million yuan, accounting for 69%, and the completion of seawall consolidation project invested 11.36 million yuan, accounting for 16%. The investment of 25.5 million yuan (14%) in provincial water conservancy projects was completed. The investment of River tributary management is 341 million yuan, accounting for 68%; the investment of small dangerous reservoir reinforcement is 744 yuan, accounting for 46%; the investment of drainage capacity construction in key waterlogging-prone areas is 73.8 million yuan, accounting for 25%; the investment of disease-prone sluice is 37 million yuan, accounting for 79%; and the investment of weak link construction after water disaster is 395.45 million yuan, accounting for 26%. Regional backbone diversion and drainage competition projects completed investment 75.55 million yuan, accounting for 34%; Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal Suzhou section embankment reinforcement project completed investment 158.76 million yuan, accounting for 35%; Zhengji River water diversion expansion project completed investment 31500 yuan, accounting for 58%; the Yellow River Old Road follow-up project completed investment 25,000 yuan, accounting for 37%.
