Website of Provincial Water Resources Department: Progress of Key Water Conservancy Project Construction in Jiangsu Province in March 2019

From January to March 2019, 3 billion yuan was invested in key water conservancy projects, and 24% of the projects were completed. The completion investment of each major project is as follows:

New Menghe project of Taihu Lake harnessing project completed investment 260 million yuan, accounting for 22%; Wangyu West Bank control project completed investment 61.35 million yuan, accounting for 31%; Wangyu River reinforcement project completed investment 1.5 million yuan, accounting for 30%; the follow-up project of Lake embankment (Jiangsu section) completed investment 8.2 million yuan, accounting for 15%. The third phase of the Yangtze River Regulation Project has invested 65 million yuan, accounting for 26%; the Jiangsu section of the main stream of the Yangtze River has invested 176.3 million yuan, accounting for 31%; the Bagua Chau branch of the Yangtze River has invested 14 million yuan, accounting for 7%; the Yangtze River embankment capacity improvement and the emergency bank collapse control project have invested 35.73 million yuan, accounting for 17%. The adjustment and construction project of Huai River harnessing Huangdun Lake flood detention area completed investment of 60.5 million yuan, accounting for 17%; the project of Huaihe River Basin key plain depression harnessing in Jiangsu Province completed investment of 10.5 million yuan, accounting for 1%; the project of Huaihe River flood storage area and Huaihe River main stream beach area residents relocation in Jiangsu Province completed investment of 19.57 million yuan, accounting for 38%. The completion of Simao sluice project in Dafeng City for coastal water conservancy construction invested 62 million yuan (48%) and 8.26 million yuan (11%) for seawall consolidation project. The provincial water conservancy projects completed with an investment of 18.05 million yuan, accounting for 10%. The investment of River tributary management is 32.56 million yuan, accounting for 64%; the investment of small dangerous reservoir reinforcement is 650 yuan, accounting for 40%; the investment of drainage capacity construction in key flood-prone areas is 64.1 million yuan, accounting for 21%; the investment of disease-prone sluice is 29 million yuan, accounting for 62%; the investment of weak link construction after water conservancy disaster is 288.41 million yuan, accounting for 19%. The regional backbone diversion and drainage competition projects completed investment of 60.5 million yuan, accounting for 27%; the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal embankment reinforcement project completed investment of 112.96 million yuan, accounting for 25%; the Zhengji River water diversion expansion project completed investment of 250 million yuan, accounting for 46%; the old Yellow River follow-up project completed investment of 18,300 yuan, accounting for 27%.
