Huaihe River Water Conservancy Commission went to Jiangsu and Shandong provinces to carry out investigation and Research on water intake project (facilities) verification of Nansi Lake

    In order to thoroughly implement the most stringent water resources management system and the general keynote of "making up the shortcomings of water projects and strengthening the supervision of water industry", and comprehensively standardize and strengthen the water intake management of Nansi Lake, the Huaihe Water Conservancy Commission recently went to Xuzhou Water Bureau, Jining Urban and Rural Water Bureau and Zaozhuang Urban and Rural Water Bureau to conduct a survey and Research on the water intake project (facilities) of Nansi Lake.  

    This survey solicited the opinions of Sulu and Shandong provinces on the tasks, objects and contents of verification and registration, division of work tasks and schedule of the work programme for verification and registration of Nansi Lake Water Intake Project (Facilities) (hereinafter referred to as "the preliminary draft" (hereinafter referred to as "the program"). The two provinces indicated that it is necessary to carry out the verification of water intake projects (facilities) in Nansi Lake. To fully understand the situation of water intake projects (facilities) in Nansi Lake has an important basic supporting role in resolving outstanding problems in water resources development and utilization, and put forward specific suggestions on the "Program". The investigation also investigated the situation of using surface water from Nansi Lake in Zouxian Power Plant.  

    Jiangsu Provincial Water Conservancy Department, Shandong Water Conservancy Department and Yishusi Water Conservancy Administration Bureau participated in this survey.
