In the construction of rural water resources, we should speed up the modernization of irrigation districts and promote the continuation of supporting and water-saving transformation projects in large and medium-sized irrigation districts. We will accelerate the construction of rural drinking water safety projects, complete the task of upgrading and renovating the rural water supply network by 2,500 kilometers, and promote the integration of urban and rural water supply. Second, efforts should be made to strengthen the management and protection of rivers and lakes.
