The lifting mechanism, also known as wire rope fixed winch, is connected with the gate by using steel rope or cable pulley group as lifting gear, which makes the winch winding and releasing the steel rope through the gear transmission system. It is simple in structure, easy to manufacture, easy to maintain and repair, and widely used in various types of gate opening and closing. The winch hoist can be divided into single hoisting point and double hoisting point. The winch hoistwith double suspension points can synchronously operate by connecting the hoists with two single suspension points through a connecting shaft, which can be made into one-side drive or two-side drive. Winch hoist is usually a gate with a hoisting device installed on the pier above the top of the gate groove. The capacity of winch hoist which has been manufactured and put into operation in China has reached 6000kN, 30m, 4000kN and 120m.
